Basketball Recap: Praise Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Praise Academy had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Oakwood Christian Eagles with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 57-43. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Eagles last Saturday, they had to take a 63-59 loss.

Praise Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Oakwood Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Praise Academy will host Central Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakwood Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
