Basketball Recap: Caprock Academy Takes a Loss

Caprock Academy was the 51-47 winner over Ouray when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Caprock Academy Eagles fell 62-53 to the Ouray Trojans on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly nine points.

Caprock Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Ouray, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Caprock Academy will welcome Soroco at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ouray, they will venture away from home to take on Dove Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
