Soccer Game Preview: Midlothian vs. Terrell

The Midlothian Panthers will face off against the Terrell Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Midlothian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Midlothian barely beat Crandall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Pirates an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Midlothian in their matchups with Crandall: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Terrell hasn't lost a match since February 3rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Ennis as they made off with a 4-1 win. Terrell might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Midlothian's record is now 9-6-3. As for Terrell, their record now sits at 11-6-2.

Midlothian skirted past Terrell 1-0 in their previous meeting on February 3rd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
