            Baseball Recap: Hale Ray Noises vs. Old Saybrook Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Hale Ray fell victim to Old Saybrook and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They took  a  5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. Having soared to a lofty 24  runs in the game before, the Noises' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Hale Ray saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anthony LaPila, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
Hale Ray has also been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record  this season. As for Old Saybrook,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-7.
 Looking ahead, Hale Ray will challenge Coginchaug Regional at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Old Saybrook, they will square off against Old Lyme at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
