Baseball Recap: Benedictine Comes Up Short

Benedictine lost to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bengals fell 5-1 to the Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Bengals have lost by exactly four runs.

Benedictine has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benedictine will host Elyria Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Norton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
