West Caldwell came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Wilkes Central, but Jordan Parks wouldn't allow it. The Eagles walked away with a 53-40 win over the Warriors on Tuesday thanks in part to Parks, who shot 55% from the field en route to 19 points and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Another player making a difference was Ayden Barrett, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Wilkes Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for West Caldwell, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Wilkes Central will welcome West Iredell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Caldwell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bandys at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
