Basketball Game Preview: Woodlake Tigers vs. Granite Hills Grizzlies

Woodlake hasn't had much luck against Granite Hills recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Woodlake Tigers will take on the Granite Hills Grizzlies in a tournament on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodlake saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 49-40 win over Riverdale Christian.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granite Hills). They claimed a resounding 83-44 victory over Hanford West. While the Grizzlies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Granite Hills has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Woodlake, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Woodlake came up short against Granite Hills when the teams last played back in January, falling 54-45. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Granite Hills' Cruz Campos, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten steals.
