Softball Recap: Magee Trojans vs. McLaurin Tigers
Magee blew McLaurin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday McLaurin got their revenge. The Trojans fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 12-10. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Magee got a massive performance out of Kaylee Brown, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Brown has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Rose Peacock was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Magee's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for McLaurin, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.
