Recap: Oak Hall Eagles vs. Trenton Tigers
It was a good run, but the Oak Hall Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Trenton by a score of 51-48. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Oak Hall came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Trenton is ranked 433rd).
Leading Trenton to victory were Zander Grant and Mason VunCannon. Grant scored 15 points, while VunCannon scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds. Dax Becker was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Oak Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Trenton, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Oak Hall will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Interlachen at 7:00 p.m. As for Trenton, they will head out on the road to face off against Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
