Isaiah Sutherland and JD Bowden secure win for United Faith Christian Academy

The United Faith Christian Academy Falcons waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They managed a 68-62 victory over Charlotte Catholic. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

United Faith Christian Academy was led to victory by Isaiah Sutherland and JD Bowden. Sutherland scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while Bowden scored 22 points along with seven assists and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Dylan Deluca, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.

United Faith Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Charlotte Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. United Faith Christian Academy will take on Veritas Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlotte Catholic on the road again on Friday and play against Providence at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
