Meanwhile, Middleburg came up short against Clay on Tuesday and fell 9-4. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Keystone Heights' win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Middleburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
