Volleyball Recap: Northridge Takes Down Roy in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Northridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Roy Royals by a score of 3-1 on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Northridge is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for Roy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16.

Coming up, Northridge will square off against Bountiful at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Roy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
