On Monday Randi Barrios struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her seventh in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the year, she has an ERA of 2.95 over 42.7 innings pitched.
