Breathitt County dropped their record down to 11-10 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-1 to the Pikeville Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bobcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Pikeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games.

For Pikeville's part, the team relied heavily on Bradyn Hall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The Panthers are undefeated when Hall posts three or more hits, but 7-10 otherwise. Isaiah Stanley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Breathitt County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-6 victory against Powell County on the 30th. As for Pikeville, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against East Ridge at 6:00 p.m.
