Basketball Recap: New Ulm's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

New Ulm can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hutchinson Tigers by a score of 67-58. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

New Ulm's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Hutchinson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

New Ulm and Hutchinson could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. New Ulm (ranked 261st) will meet Waseca (ranked sixth) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. New Ulm is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. Meanwhile, Hutchinson will take on Mound-Westonka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 213 places (280 vs. 67).
