Basketball Recap: Britton Deerfield Takes a Loss

Britton Deerfield lost against Whiteford back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Britton Deerfield Patriots fell just short of the Whiteford Bobcats by a score of 55-53. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Britton Deerfield still got an impressive performance from Ryan Good, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. The game was Good's third in a row with at least ten points. Keegan Bush was another key player, putting up ten points and five assists.

Britton Deerfield's record now sits at 2-4. As for Whiteford, their record is now 3-1.

Britton Deerfield will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Concord at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Whiteford will take on Bedford in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
