Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Glenn). They put the hurt on the West Muskingum Tornadoes with a sharp 14-1 victory on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Little Muskies with their most commanding win of the season.

John Glenn is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for West Muskingum, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Coming up, John Glenn will host Coshocton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Little Muskies are facing the Redskins at the right time seeing as the Redskins are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for West Muskingum, they will take on River View at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.57 runs per game on average), something the Tornadoes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
