Whittier RVT proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lynn Vo-Tech Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since April 13th.

Whittier RVT took Lynn Vo-Tech into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-17, 25-19, 22-25, 16-14.

Whittier RVT's record now sits at 8-5. As for Lynn Vo-Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whittier RVT will host Collegiate Charter School of Lowell at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lynn Vo-Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Nashoba Valley Tech at 5:00 p.m.
