Basketball Game Preview: Robinson Rams vs. Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials

The Robinson Rams will face off against the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Robinson is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: South County, who was ranked 20th at the time (Robinson was ranked 23rd). Robinson was dealt a 49-21 defeat at the hands of South County on Friday. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 55-43.

Robinson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-4 record this season. Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Everything came up roses for Robinson against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, as the team secured a 57-25 win.
