Softball Recap: Turners Falls' Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to 11

Turners Falls had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Georgetown Royals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunder also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

Turners Falls pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Georgetown, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

As of now, neither Turners Falls nor the Royals have any future games scheduled.
