Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was the 68-42 winner over Central when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Washington Rams took a 56-37 bruising from the Central Bobcats on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Washington still got an impressive performance from AnyaLisa Carino, who posted 15 points.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Central, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

The future could be bright for both Washington and Central: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Washington will try to hand Copper Canyon their 12th-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Central will look to extend Fairfax's four-game losing streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
