Baseball Recap: St. Vincent Takes a Loss

St. Vincent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Meadow Heights Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 back in April.

St. Vincent's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Meadow Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

St. Vincent has already played their next match (against Jefferson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Meadow Heights will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' game: after the Indians face off against the Blue Jays, they'll take on Meadow Heights again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
