Baseball Recap: Southwest Florida Christian Takes a Loss

Southwest Florida Christian and Canterbury squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Southwest Florida Christian had to settle for second. They fell 6-3 to the Cougars. The King's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Southwest Florida Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reed Guess, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Southwest Florida Christian now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Canterbury, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9.

Southwest Florida Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canterbury, they will head out to challenge Northside Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
