Softball Recap: Bloomfield Gets the Win

Bloomfield's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Scott County Central Braves 11-10. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Bloomfield's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Scott County Central, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Bloomfield Wildcats duke it out with Dexter Bearcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scott County Central, they will square off against Ellington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
