Basketball Recap: Mesivta Now 12-2 over Last 14 Games

Mercy Career & Technical came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Mesivta, but Dov Hirsch wouldn't allow it. The Mesivta Mustangs walked away with a 50-42 victory over Mercy Career & Technical on Tuesday thanks to Hirsch, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 boards. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Yisrael Epstein, who posted six points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Despite the loss, Mercy Career & Technical still got an impressive performance from Anthony Caple, who earned 17 points. Taji Stewart was another key player, putting up nine points.

Mesivta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points over those games. As for Mercy Career & Technical, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Mesivta will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on AIM Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. AIM Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mesivta surely won't give up without a fight. Mercy Career & Technical does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
