Basketball Recap: Mcalester Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for McAlester, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Ada Cougars by a score of 59-50 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Buffaloes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ada's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tre Gray, who posted 11 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Those five assists gave Gray a new career-high. Brock Boyles was another key player, putting up ten points.

McAlester's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game.
