Football Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sports Leadership & Management couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 24-18 to the Edison Red Raiders on Thursday. Sports Leadership & Management has struggled against Edison recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Rakyia Louis was her usual excellent self, throwing for 323 yards and four TDs for Edison. Louis has been hot recently, having posted four or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played.

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Edison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Sports Leadership & Management has already played their next contest, a 28-0 win against Palm Glades Prep Academy on the 23rd. As for Edison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 33-0 victory against Keys Gate on the 23rd.
