Softball Recap: Garrett Railroaders vs. East Noble Knights
Garrett and East Noble squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Garrett had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. The Railroaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 6-5.
Ashlee Vanderbosch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Garrett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayiden Feicht, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
