After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Norman Charter, Northwest Cabarrus was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the South Rowan Raiders. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Northwest Cabarrus now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Rowan, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Northwest Cabarrus will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Robinson at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. South Rowan will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against East Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on March 17th.
