Gilmer gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Murray County Indians 5-2. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Gilmer hit Murray County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joei Marshall (2), Angelica Castenada, Calli Wise, and Yenifer Lopez.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilmer will host Gordon Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murray County, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
