Football Preview: Covina Colts vs. Walnut Mustangs
It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when Colts challenges the Walnut Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Covina will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
Last Thursday, Covina strolled past Diamond Bar with points to spare, taking the game 49-32.
Covina's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gatsbee Gumban, who rushed for 271 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown. Gumban really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run. Jacob Duronslet was another key passer, throwing for 246 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes.

Covina's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Walnut, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
