Basketball Recap: Fargo South Piles Up the Points Against Shanley

Fargo South got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They claimed a resounding 71-37 win over the Shanley Deacons. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Bruins this season.

With the victory, Fargo South broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for Shanley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fargo South will square off against Fargo Davies at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fargo Davies knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Fargo South likes a good challenge. As for Shanley, they will take on Sheyenne at 7:15 p.m. on January 14th.
