George C. Marshall waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 67-62 W against the Langley Saxons. This was a revenge game for the Statesmen: when they faced off against the Saxons back in January, they had to take a 55-54 defeat.

George C. Marshall's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points over those games. As for Langley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

George C. Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Langley, they will square off against McLean at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
