Softball Recap: Eastern Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cherokee, Eastern was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Bishop Eustace Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

The Vikings (ranked 214th) will meet Rancocas Valley (ranked 22nd) at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bishop Eustace Prep will challenge Paul VI at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (320 vs. 98).
