Basketball Recap: Hickman County Takes a Loss

If Hickman County was feeling good fresh off their 67-28 takedown of Harpeth last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hickman County Bulldogs came up short against the Huntingdon Mustangs on Friday, falling 65-41. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 62-33 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Hickman County has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season. The victory was the tenth in a row for Huntingdon, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.

Hickman County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntingdon, they will take on Cheatham County Central on Monday. One thing working in Huntingdon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
