Baseball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

Dublin lost against Early back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns.

Dublin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Gaitan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Dublin has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Early, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-13.

While Dublin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
