Meanwhile, San Joaquin Memorial didn't have quite enough to beat Bullard on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

San Joaquin Memorial started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-27, 25-12, 25-23, 15-8.

San Joaquin Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for Sanger, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.

Sanger couldn't quite get it done against San Joaquin Memorial in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Apaches avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
