Basketball Recap: Escambia County Comes Up Short

After flying high against W.S. Neal last Tuesday, Escambia County came back down to earth. The Escambia County Blue Devils took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Aggies on Saturday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Aggies recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Escambia County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Jackson, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.

Escambia County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 44-37 loss against Jackson on the 27th. As for Jackson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-15 win against W.S. Neal on the 25th.
