Baseball Preview: Prague Red Devils vs. Stratford Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 The Prague Red Devils will head out on the road to  take on  the Stratford Bulldogs at 12:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Prague can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Monday. They had just enough and edged Luther out  4-3. The  victory was just what Prague needed coming off of  a  14-2 defeat in their prior  matchup.
 Meanwhile, Stratford had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They beat the Badgers by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  7-6.
  Grady Carter was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also only allowed one  walk). Carter has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Carter was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Canaan Weddle, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played.
 Prague's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-7. As for Stratford, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record  this season.
 Prague took their  victory against Stratford  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2019 by a conclusive  19-12. Does  Prague have another victory up their sleeve, or will Stratford turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
