Softball Recap: West Brook Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Brook's offense. They came up short against the Barbers Hill Eagles on Tuesday, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Bruins' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West Brook's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-11. As for Barbers Hill, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

Looking ahead, West Brook will take on Beaumont United at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaumont United has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something West Brook will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Barbers Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sterling will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
