Fort Frye came out on top against Shenandoah on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Cadets took their matchup against the Zeps 14-10. The victory continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Zeps: they've now won four in a row.

Jayden Brown was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Carmen Henniger was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Fort Frye kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.

Fort Frye's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Shenandoah, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the loss, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Fort Frye will take on Caldwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Shenandoah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
