Baseball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Princeton's offense. They fell 3-0 to the McKinney Lions on Saturday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Princeton's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-13-1. As for McKinney, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-9 record.

Princeton and McKinney could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Princeton will take on Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 734 places (929 vs. 195). Meanwhile, McKinney (ranked 549th) will meet Plano West (ranked 132nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
