Basketball Game Preview: Herron Achaeans vs. Horizon Christian

The Herron Achaeans and Horizon Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Herron is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Herron was beaten by Purdue Polytechnic 75-25.

Meanwhile, Horizon Christian came up short against Traders Point Christian on Tuesday and fell 53-42. The game marked Horizon Christian's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Herron's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Horizon Christian, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Herron was taken down by Horizon Christian 57-27 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Herron was down 38-13.
