Basketball Recap: Montbello Takes a Loss

Montbello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-31 loss at the hands of the Adams City Eagles. The Warriors were down 52-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Montbello's loss came despite strong showings from Jeveon West and Micah Martinez. West posted eight points and eight boards, while Martinez earned eight points and six rebounds.

Montbello's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Adams City, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.

Montbello will welcome Aurora Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Adams City, they will head out to square off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
