Basketball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe lost against Kennedy back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Monroe Dragons were dealt a 64-28 defeat at the hands of the Kennedy Trojans. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Kennedy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Monroe is taking a road trip to take on Oakridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monroe is facing Oakridge at the right time seeing as Oakridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kennedy, they will square off against Regis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Regis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Kennedy likes a good challenge.
