Volleyball Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Douglas County

Vista PEAK Prep faced Douglas County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bison took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Tristan Rowley paced Vista PEAK Prep's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rowley got some help from Ein Bamba and his 11 assists. Finally, Rowley was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Vista PEAK Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Douglas County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.
