Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Faith Christian and Trinity Lutheran squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Faith Christian had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Caya Stillings and Kelsey Olehy certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Stillings had 31 digs and three assists, while Olehy had 17 assists and 12 digs. Olehy is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 31-5. As for Trinity Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Faith Christian nor Trinity Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
