With a playoff win on the line, Pentucket Regional rose to the challenge on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers 4-3. The win was familiar territory for Pentucket Regional, who have now won three games in a row.

Pentucket Regional let Noah Meyer and Julien Powers run wild. Meyer went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Powers went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Pentucket Regional's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Blackstone Valley RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-12.
