Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin and Pitman squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Franklin had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pride by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Franklin sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 15-9.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Pitman, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-9.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pitman, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against St. Mary's on the 30th.
