St. Mary's-Colgan had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Erie Red Devils by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

St. Mary's-Colgan easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17.

St. Mary's-Colgan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Izzy Tierney led the charge by getting nine assists and two aces. That's the most aces Tierney has posted over her last six matchups.

Tierney wasn't the only good servers: St. Mary's-Colgan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matches.

St. Mary's-Colgan's record now sits at 22-15. As for Erie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-21.

St. Mary's-Colgan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Conway Springs on the 25th. Erie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
